Basil Kilian – CEO
Basil has been involved in Aviation all his life. Having grown up on an Air Force Base he started his career as an Air Traffic Controller directly after completing his schooling. He has been involved in Aviation for the past 52 years in various positions and departments ranging from Airport Management (having been an Airport Manager for 5 airports), ORAT, Airport Planing & Design, Airport Operations Consultancy & Training, & Airport products, sales & marketing. To complete his understanding of airport operations Basil obtained his Private Pilot’s Licence and Masters Degree, MSc Airport Planning & Management, at Loughborough University, UK.
Zack Adam
A seasoned Executive and Consultant specialising in Airport Operations and IT. Zack has held Senior Management roles in Airport Operations and IT, and Consulted to over 15 International Airports over 25 years. Highly experienced in Business and IT Architecture, implementing Airport Systems such as AODB, and Business Change and improvement Processes. Conversant with Operational Readiness & Transition ( ORAT ). Passionate delivering value through creating an efficient & optimal Airports & IT divisions that support the business in achieving its strategic and operational objectives, through implementing best practice processes.
Dr Andre Nel
Dr Andre Nel started his career as a firefighter in 1982. During his career he has worked in various Fire Departments achieving the rank of Fire Chief at Virginia Airport,Thaba Tshwane Fire Department & South African Airforce Command. Dr Nel also some time in the Commercial sector as Group Occupational Health and Safety Manager. He has a BSc degree and two Master’s degrees in Public Safety/Emergency Response & Risk management. He also holds a Doctorate, majoring in Emergency Planning epidemiology & people with disabilities in emergency evacuation situations. He is the Dean of the Faculty of UARD- University of Applied Research and Development in New Zealand and is also a Professor in Emergency Response and Risk Assessment. Andre is a qualified Assessor/Moderator and Lecturer at all levels of education.
Anita Jadhav
Anita is a recent former Flight Attendant, experienced on Boeing 737-800NG and the Airbus A320. Anita also worked at Mumbai International Airport in Terminal Operations and part of the Customer Services Department. She has over ten years experience in aviation and is the Brand Ambassador and Airline Cabin Crew Training Officer for bk Airport Servces. Her qualifications include Airport Operations, Airline flight operations, Cabin Crew qualifications and procedures. Her qualities include working well with people and understanding their customer needs, moving through Airports as well as on flights.
Nazneen Rupani
Nazneen is a seasoned professional with almost 2 decades of experience in the aviation industry. Having worked for an airline, a ground handler and an airport operator, she has a repertoire of skills working in different capacities. She has led change projects from need identification, Operatinal Readiness (ORAT), and Airports Operations Training, to successful implementation which have resulted in cost benefits for the organisation, improved customer satisfaction and general well-being among employees.

Mauritius Office
The Mauritius office is considered to be our Global Head Office. Situated in the picturesque village of Blue Bay near the town of Mahebourg in the southern part of Mauritius near the International Airport.Our Mauritius office is staffed with the Logistics Co-ordinator, the Accountant and the CEO. Consultants periodically frequent the Mauritius office for workshops, training and the provision of class-room training in the Training Centre.
Durban Office
The Durban office is situated in the suburb of Durban North in Durban, South Africa. The office is considered to be the primary office in South Africa. Through this office our South African clients are engaged and their requirements met. Queries originating in South Africa are usually dealt with through the Durban and Johannesburg offices.When the CEO is in South Africa, he is in attendance at the Durban office.
Joburg Office
The Johannesburg office is situated in the west of Johannesburg in a suburb called the Polofields.The office plays a large roll in the administration aspects of the company.These admin aspects will soon be moved to our Mauritius office and all the administration of bk Airport Services will be from Mauritius office in Blue Bay.
